PORTRAITS
I will initially discuss the portrait with you either in person or by telephone. At this time I would like to understand what you envison in terms of setting, composition, clothing, size, and where the portrait will hang. A price is decided upon and a deposit is received. If possible I would like to meet the subject.
The first session will have me taking several pictures. The session usually lasts about two hours. I will then meet with you, mail or by telephone to decide on what photos to work from. If you are a substantial distance from Marco Island. You could hire a local photographer. Or send me some of your favorite pictures.
I will need several photos from which to work with.
After poses have been decided upon. A small study in oils determining the colors and composition of the future oil is completed and sent to the client for approval. The final portrait is then undertaken, painted in oils of the finest quality on Belgian linen canvas.
